God's Simple Plan of Salvation
That you are a sinner
Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
That the penalty of sin is death and hell
Rom. 6:23, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
That Jesus paid the penalty for your sin on the cross
Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth (demonstrated) His love towards us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
That if you repent, believe in Jesus, you will receive Him into your heart— and find salvation.
2 Pet 3:9 says, “The Lord... is long-suffering... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Say the following prayer sincerely:
“Dear God, I realise I am a sinner, and I deserve to be condemned and go to Hell. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to save me. Lord Jesus, I believe that You gave Your life for me on the cross. I believe that You died and rose again for my salvation. I now repent of my false beliefs and confess all my sins to You, and I receive You in my heart as my Saviour and Lord. I thank You for Your gift of eternal life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Saviour, Amen.”
All your sins (past, present, & future) are forgiven by God.
1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
You are now truly God’s child.
John 1:12, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
