Faith is the victory in loving God and His ministry

1 John 5:4 KJV
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The world that we live in now is difficult and hard for us and a lot of us struggle, especially in our daily lives, in our workplace and even in our surroundings. We will face prosecution in our work place and even our close friends. This world is not our home. Everyday is a challenge for a Christian to overcome the temptations of this world.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
God gave us - The Holy Spirit inside us, so that we have the power to overcome the temptation of this world, the lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and pride of life.
1 John 2:16 KJV
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Sometimes we fall into sin because we are still in the flesh. We can't overcome the temptation because we enjoyed the sins and temporary pleasures of this world.
That is why, as Christian, we need Christ, without Christ I Am Nothing. 

1) Faith is the Victory.

Faith is a vital role. It is important to be victorious to overcommeth this world. How is your faith? Work without Faith is dead. How to make our faith would be more stronger and bigger? by hearing the word of God.
Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
We become weak if we don't have the Word of God. That's why we need to attend to our local church.
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
The question is Do you have faith in your God? If you have faith, did you increase your faith?

2) Victory in loving God
Do you love God? If you love God you should keep his commandments and his words. Sometimes we can't keep God's word ... like our life verse. Yes! you can memorise but you can't keep them. Mat. 6:33
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
We must focus to love our God our master. We have one master.

Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
The question is... Do you love God? Or you love your family and friends more than your God, your master?

3) Victory in God's Ministry
God chose you or us to be entrusted of His ministry. God sees the desire of your heart and capability to serve him. How? by giving your.....
Time - Your time is important in serving God's Ministry. If you love God, you must give your time to him through serving him in prayer, reading the bible, fellowship with your brethren. Some Christian they keep saying that.... they love God and believe Him. They are not giving their time to the Lord. Still working every Sunday. 

Matthew 7:20-21
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. [21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Giving your Money - Money is not bad but if you love the money then that's the problem. Money is the root of all evil.
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Invest your money in eternity as you will not be able to bring it with you when you die. You could lose your money but if you invest for your eternity, God will be pleased. You're glorify God. Prove your faith and your love through His ministry by Giving. Money is a blessing from God above. You must use it for purposes of His glory such as tithes and offerings and giving money to the mission. As the bible says its better to give than to recieve, another saying in the bible is that: you can give without loving, but you cannot love without living, so if you love God and His ministry you have to give back His blessings to Him, the more you give the more blessings comes. God knows the desire of your heart toward your money.
Luke 12:34 KJV
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The question is ... What is your ministry to the Lord?

4) Giving your Effort and Talent to the ministry

Did you give an effort to the Lord? Do you make an effort to serve your loving God faithfully through His ministry? My ministry is to go to church Early so that I can help to set up the chairs - Do you work on Sundays? Do you make an effort to swap your Sunday shift? Give your talents to the Lord by special numbers singing and joining the choirs.
In order to be victorious, we must live and do the work of the Lord faithfully according to His will.
Colossians 3:23-24
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; [24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

CONCLUSSION:
Sometimes we are victorious in many ways, victorious in our career, in our dreams, in our family, our wealth and pleasure in this world. But if you don't love God and His ministry, what are you to Him? 

Did you ask God about it and did you examine yourself? 

How about your spiritual side?

Are you victorious in loving God and his ministry? 

Did you try to be in love with God and His ministry? And to be able to serve him faithfully?

Examine your self with those question as you will be the only one who could answer it. God knows the desire of our heart. God bless us all.
